Rains reduce Tanker purchase

Trinity Woods and Acres (an apartment on Sarjapura Road)  meticulously records the number of tankers of water that they buy everyday. The range being between 25 and 35 tankers. Due to heavy rains on the night of 5th Jun they bought only 14 tankers on 6th June. Look carefully and you see that they record most events of rain when there is a significant decrease in the number of tankers required. May and June of 2014 record three such distinct days.

With Rainwater Storage implemented to the extent possible, they are now exploring groundwater recharge to further augment their rainwater harvesting system
