Students/Faculty with ACARA visit Sarjapura Road on 18th May 2017

Acara is an interdisciplinary impact entrepreneurship program at the University of Minnesota, which started in 2009, working with student social innovators through experiential learning, coursework, incubation, mentoring, fellowships and funding. Their summer study abroad program has students from various backgrounds learning about development and its contexts through interactions with various stakeholders.

In this regard, BIOME helped organize a visit  to Rainbow Drive and Kaikondrahalli Lake  on Thursday, May 18, 2017, - to understand the water management and citizen participation for water management in both the places. This was for eight University of Minnesota students, three faculty and three local interns from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore
